PAST SIMPLE (REGULAR VERBS)

The past simple of regular verbs is very easy to form. We need to add the ending -ed. However, there are some spelling rules that we have to consider, as well as some rules when dealing with the negative and the interrogative forms. Regarding the spelling when adding -ed, we have to consider some aspects in the infinitives before adding the ending -ed. Here you have a clear chart with common examples that are familiar to you.

As I always say in class, irregular verbs are one of the most tricky aspects in English learning.
