Happy Peace Day!
Hello everyone! Today we celebrate the Peace Day. It is a very important day in all schools, and not only for all the activities that we organise but for the values that we highlight. In our school we have been working on Nobel Prize winners, but most significantly, Martin Luther King Jr. We also sang some songs in Spanish and French. I leave you this song in English by Bob Sinclair and Steve Edwards called 'Peace Song'. I hope you like it!

Active life!
Hello everyone! Our students in Year 5 are very active and they play lots of different sports. A proof of this is these tasks they have done on the sports they practise and the equipment and clothes that they use. Do you like them?

Peace Day: Martin Luther King Jr.
Hello everyone! How was the week? We are getting to the end of January and, as you know, we will celebrate the Peace Day next Tuesday the 30th. For that reason we have been working on Martin Luther King Jr and his fight for the Civil Rights Movement in America for black people. Here you have the link to the video and some pictures of the students in Year 6B (Activities by Brainy Explorers Academy https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Martin-Luther-King-Activity-bundle-2288339). Enjoy your weekend!

American vs British English
Hello there! How are you? We are back to the second term and we started doing some work on our winter break. We talked about what we did, who we spent time with, what we ate, the gifts we got... Eventually, we came up with different spelling of words such as favourite (favorite), colour (color), travelled (travel), etc. We talked about the differences between American and British English the same as we have differences in spelling and vocabulary between Spanish dialects. Here you have a picture with some useful vocabulary in the two different dialects, British and American. Enjoy!
